He was also one of the few players to average a double-double for the entire season (finishing with 41 in 66 games played). However, the glaring criticism directed towards Griffin this season was his poor free-throw shooting. His clip dropped from an acceptable 64.2 percent last season to just 52.1 percent this year, a trend that has many worrying that he could become a free-throw percentage liability similar to Dwight Howard. And unlike Howard, Griffin doesn't block enough shots (0.7 blocks per game) to make up for the lost category. He is still only 23 years old, so there is plenty of time for him to correct his flaws.
