Combine that with playing in a backcourt with John Wall and rookie Bradley Beal, and it's clear the long-term plan for Crawford will be as the primary backup to both guard spots. He can still make a fantasy impact in that role -- he averaged nearly 15 points in just 27 minutes per game last season -- and taking fewer shots softens the blow of his shoddy field goal shooting (39.4 percent). With Wall (knee) out until around Thanksgiving, Crawford has early-season upside, as he should handle the point in Wall's absence.
