A year later, it seems Fields is better suited as a solid reserve, who can provide the aforementioned stats in smaller quantities. That should be his role in Toronto, as long as rookie shooting guard Terrence Ross lives up to his hype and small forward DeMar DeRozan sticks as a starter.
