After bursting onto the scene averaging 20.9 points, 8.4 assists, 2.1 steals and 0.9 3-pointers in 14 games during the month of February, Lin settled down in March with a more believable 14.6 points, 6.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.8 3-pointers per game before suffering a season-ending knee injury. There is no doubt that Lin has what it takes to be a productive fantasy point guard; however, those looking to invest in him should consider that opposing defenders eventually adjusted to his style of play and, prior to his injury, were slowing him down. That said, Lin should still be a fantasy asset for his scoring, assists, steals and free throw percentage. He'll likely struggle from the floor and 3-point line, and turnovers will remain a problem as teams focus on him more than they did last year. All in all, Lin should be considered a mid-level fantasy point guard.
