2012-13 Lakers Report Card: Bench backcourt
For a franchise that has won 16 titles, any Los Angeles Lakers season that doesn't end with a championship is considered a failure. But rather than just dole out a blanket "F" for the Lakers' disappointing 2012-13 season, we're going to break down each player's production in groups, beginning with the bench backcourt.

Goudelock's road leads back to Lakers
LOS ANGELES -- It was hard for Andrew Goudelock not to smile as he sat in front of his locker, even after the Los Angeles Lakers’ 120-89 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night.

Rapid Reaction: Spurs 120, Lakers 89
LOS ANGELES -- At the very least, tip your hat to Andrew Goudelock and Darius Morris. The Los Angeles Lakers had no business beating the San Antonio Spurs on Friday with no Kobe Bryant, no Steve Nash and no Steve Blake in the lineup.

NBA - 2 Lakers could make 1st career playoff start
From Elias: Steve Blake is out indefinitely with a strained right hamstring while Steve Nash and Jodie Meeks are both doubtful for Game 3 against the Spurs. That leaves the Lakers with few choices in their backcourt. Out of Darius Morris, Andrew Goudelock and Chris Duhon - only Duhon has started a playoff game (5 times with the Bulls in the 2005 postseason). Duhon has yet to play this postseason while Morris (15.5 minutes per game) and Goudelock (6.0 minutes) have seen limited action. Should the Lakers start Morris and Goudelock, it'd be the first game in which two Lakers would be making their first career playoff start since April 27, 1995 (Nick Van Exel and Anthony Peeler both made their first career postseason start against the SuperSonics in Game 1 of the Western Conference First Round). The Lakers lost that game 96-71 but went on to win the series 3-1. That just happened to be the last playoff series the Lakers won without Kobe Bryant.

Injury update: Nash practices, Meeks doesn't
SAN ANTONIO -- Jodie Meeks sat with his left leg elevated on the chair next to him as he watched his teammates shoot around after practice Tuesday. Meeks missed his second consecutive practice after spraining his left ankle in the first half of the Los Angeles Lakers' 91-79 Game 1 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.
