{"playerId":986,"percentChange":0,"averageDraftPosition":91.4,"percentOwned":41.5,"playerRaterSEASON":2.6,"playerRater7DAY":1.6,"mostRecentNews":{"news":"Kidd-Gilchrist averaged 9.0 points, 1.5 assists and 5.8 rebounds throughout his rookie season.","spin":"Kidd-Gilchrist is most definitely a work in progress. Although he does have slightly above average shooting ability, hitting 45.8 percent of his shots, he struggled immensely from behind the three point arc, hitting only 22.2 percent of three point attempts. Kidd-Gilchrist also showed flashes of ability in terms of rebounding, but to be a more productive player, he needs to work on increasing his assists per game. Kidd-Gilchrist will be back with the Bobcats next season, but he has work to do before he is considered a fantasy threat. At this point, he is likely to be picked up in most deep leagues.","date":"Fri Apr 19"},"fullName":"Michael Kidd-Gilchrist","seasonOutlook":{"outlook":"The Bobcats shipped out Gerald Wallace last season and hope that MKG can replace him. There are some obvious similarities in their skill sets; each are lockdown defenders, possess big-time motors, have rebounding skills and can finish at the rim. Long term, the Bobs hope he'll develop a midrange jumper and become an elite NBA All-Star; but until he adds that element to his repertoire, MKG's fantasy upside will be limited. However, on a thin roster, he'll have every chance to learn on the fly and produce quality rebound numbers and hustle stats. He's a fantastic keeper and a player worth rolling the dice on in the latter rounds of redraft leagues.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Wed Oct 10"},"playerRater30DAY":2,"playerRater15DAY":0.9,"positionRank":24}
