News: Speights (knee) was seen walking without his knee brace on before the Sixers' game on Friday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Spin: While it's encouraging to hear that Speights is walking without his brace, this does not alter his rehabilitation schedule in the least. He should start lifting within the next few days, and he will continue to rebuild the partially torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee through physical therapy over the next five to seven weeks. Speights' return isn't likely to come until after the new year. |
