Kirk Hinrich Hinrich

The Chicago Bulls won Game 1 against the Miami Heat on Saturday, but Kirk Hinrich had a frustrating day. And now he'll pay for it.

NBA disciplinarian Stu Jackson announced on Monday that the Bulls guard was fined $25,000 for throwing his mouthpiece into the stands in the third quarter of Chicago's 96-91 win.

In foul trouble the entire game, Hinrich played only 19 minutes and scored two points on 1-for-7 shooting. He finished with five fouls.

At 11:01 of the third quarter, Hinrich committed an offensive foul and received a technical.

The Bulls and Heat play Game 2 on Tuesday at the United Center in Chicago.
