Two games into life with a mask, LeBron James is shooting 67.7 percent from the floor compared to 57.7 percent when his face isn't shielded by plastic. He also happens to be leading the league since Feb. 1 at 2.8 steals per game for the two-time reigning champs, who finally swiped the No. 1 spot in ESPN.com's weekly NBA Power Rankings last Monday and have shown little interest in surrendering it.

Chicago's leap into the top 10 (No. 13 to No. 8) and Philadelphia's plummet to No. 30 are the other major developments in the latest assemblage of the rankings, which were compiled, as always, with the assistance of ESPN Stats & Info and the Elias Sports Bureau.
