Seeking his fourth victory of the season, Jason Day opened with scores of 67-69 to take the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational lead entering the weekend. An Ohio resident who lives less than two hours from Akron, Day said he'd like to join the Cavs and Indians as recent winners from the state. In fact, he and wife Ellie took a photo with the NBA championship trophy on Friday afternoon. "Luckily, LeBron James didn't come tackle us," he joked, "so that was nice."

With $55 million in cap space, the Celtics have room for two max contracts this summer.
