The Raptors and coach Dwane Casey are expected to soon begin talks on a contract extension, sources told ESPN's Marc Stein. If talks progress as expected, Casey should land a new deal not unlike Portland's Terry Stotts (three-year extension). Casey has one season left on his deal which is a $4 million team option.

As LeBron James was answering a question on the dais, Richard Jefferson popped his head into the press area and reminded James that the Cavs were waiting for them to get done on the bus. James then joked about how Jefferson hasn't been to the NBA Finals since his second year in the pros with the Nets.

LeBron James said he didn't enjoy last year's run to the Finals the way he is enjoying this journey due to all the injuries. He appreciates what Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving have done to get here and show why the three were assembled. After answering the first three or four questions of the press conference, LeBron asked the media to "please ask these guys the next question and not me." Throughout the postseason, LeBron has repeatedly tried to credit Love and Irving.
