Grizzlies Game 3 win comes at a cost

Memphis led near wire to wire, taking a 3-0 series lead on the back of a 115-109 win. But an errant C.J. McCollum elbow took out Mike Conley in the third quarter, making his future status uncertain. Box score

Portland now has four players with 20-plus points: Batum (27), Lillard (22), Aldridge and McCollum (21). Rare in (likely) a losing effort.

Bad time for the Blazers' transition defense to fall asleep. Tony Allen leaks out for a layup and it's a nine-point game with 1:14 left.

5-0 spurt brings the Blazers back within seven with 4:08 remaining. Hope of avoiding a 3-0 deficit still alive.

Mike Conley ruled out of game

Mike Conley is done for the night. Conley has left Moda Center and is going to a local medical facility for further review of his swollen left eye. The Grizzlies are up 8 points midway through the fourth. Live on ESPN/WatchESPN

Everything going Grizzlies' way

When it's your night, it's your night. Jeff Green closed the third quarter with this bumbling, fumbling circus shot in the air that somehow found the bottom of the basket.

Conley doubtful to return

An update from ESPN's Chris Broussard reveals that Portland's trainers do not believe Mike Conley's nose is broken but his left eye and orbital area is swollen and pretty heavily damaged. Conley hasn't been ruled out of the game but is doubtful to return. Live on ESPN/WatchESPN

Grizzlies up 10 entering 4th. Conley still not on the bench. Crucial stretch right here. Blazers desperately trying to make it a series.

Blazers fighting to stay relevant

Nineteen of Portland's 26 third-quarter points came from either LaMarcus Aldridge, Damian Lillard or C.J. McCollum. Those three will need to burn even brighter in the final period as the Grizzlies still lead by 10 points. Live on ESPN/WatchESPN

With Mike Conley headed to the locker room after a collison with C.J. McCollum, Grizz down to just Nick Calathes at PG for time being.

McCollum KOs Conley with an elbow

UFC 186 isn't in Portland but C.J. McCollum just hit Mike Conley with a nasty elbow as Conley was helping on transition defense. Conley was shaken up but made it up to his feet and back to the locker room, holding a towel to his bleeding face. Live on ESPN/WatchESPN

Blazers' mouse in the house

C.J. McCollum found out the hard way that a guard doesn't challenge a big who has an open runway to the rim. He should be thankful that Kosta Koufos isn't a resident of Lob City.

D-Rose takes the blame for loss
NBA

Derrick Rose had a chance to win Game 4 late but the ball was stripped by Khris Middleton. The Bulls PG said postgame, "I put that all on me. Just wasn't paying attention to the ball. ... But if anything, this is a learning experience. ... I swear I'm built for it."
