See, no brace on Tim Duncan's right knee as he participates in pre-game warmups. He should be ready to go soon; likely after the All-Star break. But it wouldn't be a surprise if he plays a few minutes Wednesday at Orlando.

Magic Johnson's top five greatest Lakers

The Lakers legend joins SportsCenter and names the greatest players to don the purple and gold. Cari Champion puts Johnson at No. 1 -- but did he name himself?

Tyronn Lue tells story of swatting Kobe

"Long story short is, it was a game point and [Bryant] drove baseline and I was at the elbow. ... And I went down the lane and I pinned his dunk against the glass. ... We came down, Devean George made a layup for game and Brian Shaw went, 'Ahhh, he blocked you!' He went crazy. Kobe wanted to fight me at first and then, second, he wanted to play one-on-one after practice." 'Unbelievable' competitor

Kyrie Irving asked to compared Kobe and LeBron: "They're both great in their own right, I can tell you that. But I've never played with Kobe, so I don't (know). We can only kind of guess from what we see what his work ethic is like. And his leadership, I can't see it from within. But I'm around Bron every single day and I think I have a different perspective of learning from a guy every single day than kind of just having conversations and communicating with a guy through the phone or seeing him in person. So, every single day I get to see Bron. But I don't get to see, I didn't get to see, Kobe every single day so I think I wouldn't give you a better perspective of what you're looking for between the two. But they're both great though."

ICYMI: LeBron's 1st triple-double of season

It took just three quarters for LeBron James to get his 40th career triple-double on Monday.

30 for 30 Shorts: Friedmans Shoes

Before the Internet, what did you do if you were a six-foot-something athlete in need of some really big (think size 22), really expensive shoes? You did whatever you could to get to Atlanta and see the guys at Friedman's.

Magic chooses Kobe over Duncan

Sorry, Kareem, but Magic Johnson disagrees with your opinion.

O'Neal, who already had his No. 34 jersey retired by the Lakers, spent three and a half seasons in Miami, helping the Heat to their first NBA title in 2005-06.

We got to come out and we got to play that way."

Breen: 'Obvious disconnect' for Knicks

Mike Breen said on Russillo & Kanell of the Knicks firing Derek Fisher: "[Phil Jackson] pretty much said he tried to talk to Derek and give him some suggestions, and Derek didn't follow through."

Marc Stein says the Kings' non-move with head coach George Karl raises as many questions as it answers.
