Bradley Beal returns to starting lineup for Wizards

WASHINGTON -- Wizards guard Bradley Beal, who missed three games with a sprained pelvis, returned to the starting lineup Monday with 12 points and five rebounds against the Detroit Pistons.

He played 25 minutes as the Wizards routed the Pistons 124-81.

It has been an injury-filled season for Beal, who also missed a stretch of 16 games in December and January with a stress reaction in his right leg. The fourth-year guard is averaging 17.8 points per game and is the Wizards' second-leading scorer.

Washington enters Monday in 10th place in the Eastern Conference, 3½ games behind Detroit for the conference's eighth and final playoff spot.
