The NBA and its players can stop pretending that the fans matter now. Monday's cancellation is all about business, writes J.A. Adande.
With every day that goes by, we need to look at further reductions in what's left in the season.
(The owners) figure that once a player misses a check or two it's all over. I'm saying ... that would be a horrible mistake if they think that's going to happen, because it's not going to happen.
The NBA has been down this road once before, cancelling the first 32 games of the 1998-99 season.
