NBA suspends Arron Afflalo 1 game

NEW YORK -- Denver Nuggets guard Aaron Afflalo has been suspended one game without pay by the NBA for throwing an elbow to the head of Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward.

The incident occurred with 6:32 remaining in the third quarter of Utah's 121-102 win over Denver on Friday.

Afflalo will serve his suspension on Sunday when the Nuggets visit the Minnesota Timberwolves.
