Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook clash

ESPN.com news services

Thunder teammates Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant got into a shouting match on the bench during a second-quarter timeout of Oklahoma City's 98-95 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, The Oklahoman reported Wednesday.

Westbrook, the newspaper reported, got upset when with 3½ minutes left in the second quarter, he drove into the lane and passed the ball out to Thabo Sefolosha in the corner. Sefolosha did not shoot an open 3-pointer. Westbrook, the newspaper reported, yelled to Sefolosha to "shoot the (expletive) ball."

Teammates tried to calm Westbrook but his anger spilled over during a timeout a minute later.

Durant tried to talk to Westbrook during the timeout but, instead, the two began yelling at each other and were separated, the newspaper reported.

The two players eventually sat at opposite ends of the team huddle awaiting coach Scott Brooks, the newspaper reported. But when the team returned to the court, Durant patted Westbrook on the head.

"We're going to disagree sometimes, like I've always been saying," Durant told The Oklahoman after the game. "But I'm behind him 110 percent, and he's the same way with me. And you seen when we came on the floor we clicked and everything started to work from there."

Westbrook, who finished 0-for-13 with six assists, three rebounds and four turnovers, was not available for comment after the game.

After the game, Brooks said he had no issues with the dust-up.

"When you have an intense game, you're going to have arguments. I have no problem with it. I think it's healthy," Brooks said, according to The Oklahoman. "I think you learn from it and you get better with it. That's just part of an NBA game.

"We have it and other teams have it. Good teams, bad teams and average teams," Brooks added, according to the report. "I have no issues with how our guys compete. At times they get frustrated. But it's always about the team."

Chandler must land offer sheet from another team before March 1, if that's route he prefers, or else he can only play w/Denver this season

As for Raps' interest in @wilsonchandler, TOR can currently offer multiyear deal starting at about $4.3M which Denver would match instantly
