Magic's Meeks out indefinitely after foot surgery

Magic guard Jodie Meeks underwent surgery on Tuesday to stabilize the fifth metatarsal in his right foot, the bone he broke during the second game last season.


NBA takes a hack at hacking

Henry Ellenson, the Pistons' first-round draft choice at No. 18, had "summer highs" of 22 points and 11 rebounds in 36 minutes on Friday, when Detroit lost the championship game of the Orlando Summer League 87-84 to the Magic's White team.
