Warriors survive Thunder rally

Oklahoma City came back from down double digits to tie the game late, but key plays by Stephen Curry sealed the 116-108 win. Golden State moves to 46-4 on the season. Box score

Impressive second half from the Thunder falls short. Warriors score just 43 points, but execute in the final three minutes to hold on 116-108. Durant had 40 and 14 rebounds, Westbrook 27 and 12 assists, Kanter 14 and 15 rebounds in 20 minutes.

Impressive second half performance from the Thunder, win or lose. Have cut a 20-point deficit to tie the game with three minutes left. Warriors with just 31 second half points.

Warriors up 91-83 on the Thunder, after some good 3rd quarter defense closes the gap a bit. Looked like the Warriors were turning this into a blowout, but OKC has fought to make it a game again. Curry is getting swarmed and switched aggressively and thus has had very few clean looks. He's 7-of-17 for 20 points

Thunder win the third 24-18 to cut it to 91-83 headed to the fourth. Durant with 30, Westbrook with 23 and 9 assists. Really big opening minutes ahead for the OKC bench to start the fourth.

Kevin Durant on GSW assistant Ron Adams: "We always had a great relationship. He was hard on me. He expected a lot out of me and that's the type of coaching I like and he never shied away from how he thought. Always spoke his mind to me so I'm always going to respect him, always going to be family to me. Whatever team he goes to man, he imposes his will and just changed the whole thought process of the team. He's a great assistant."

Warriors up on the Thunder 73-59 at the half. Durant has 23 points, Curry's only made one 3-pointer, and yet, Thunder are down by a lot on account of their defense getting shredded

It's natural to react (and overreact) to current lineups and combinations, but this is the first time these teams have seen each other. Only makes sense to feel out and see what works and what doesn't. Also, to not show every card in your hand either.

Warriors lead Thunder 36-31 after so much 1st quarter action. Curry has missed three 3-pointers but hit one right over Durant. KD has 13 points, scoring more easily against Harrison Barnes than Andre Iguodala, who eventually subbed in. Also, Jay-Z and Beyonce are courtside

Royce Young ESPN Staff Writer

First quarter was everything fans could want: Warriors lead 36-31 as both offenses hummed along. Durant with 13, Westbrook nine.

Warriors ahead in first quarter
