Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart on recovery from knee injury: "Were taking it day by day. You cant tell your body what to do. A body has a mind of its own and does what it wants. Were waiting to see how it reacts to things with the rest Im getting and the rehab and everything, hopefully I can be back in a couple of weeks."

Brad Stevens on injured Marcus Smart, who arrived to TD Garden on crutches again: "It was a minimum of two weeks. I think it sounds like itd be unlikely that he would play through any of our road games, and I dont what that timeline makes it. I'd still say that it could very well be a long shot when we get back from those home games -- Chicago, Golden State, and that game against Charlotte right after that. We could be talking quite a few more games for sure. But theres no precise timeline on it."

Evan Turner's amazing recap of the key sequence in Boston's comeback: "I had confidence [Crowder] was going to make it. Before I had told Crowder, even though hed missed a couple of shots, I said, Youve got some big shots in you. He was like, I know. When I was dribbling, I was like, 'Oh snap, Im at 15 feet, Im about to end this.' And then I thought about [Michael Jordan] passing to Steve Kerr. And I thought, 'Well, let me add that to my legacy. Ill pass one time.' And that was it. It was unbelievable actually. Ingenious by me."

Celtics guard Marcus Smart spotted with crutches and brace entering TD Garden. Brad Stevens on the injured guard: We just dont want him to put any pressure on it at all. Its a unique injury. I think its usually an injury thats associated with other areas of your knee getting hurt, so we feel fortunate it is what it is and that its not a long-term thing.

Chris Forsberg ESPN Staff Writer

Brad Stevens on what he wants from his disconnected Celtics: I just think we need to defend with greater urgency. We need to play offense with more purpose and more ball movement. And we need to play to the standard which weve set for closer to 48 minutes than we have. We just havent done that yet this year. And weve been living on good days, on good quarters."
