The Pacers are finalizing a deal to make assistant coach Nate McMillan the team's new head coach, a source told The Undefeated's Marc Spears, confirming a report from The Vertical.

Pacers to hire Nate McMillan

Indiana is working on finalizing a contract with McMillan, currently an assistant coach for the team, sources told The Undefeated's Marc Spears. The Vertical was the first to report a deal was in the works. McMillan has been a head coach for 12 previous seasons (5 with Seattle and 7 with Portland).
