Pels' new look provided by CenturyLink?

The Pelicans, according to an NBA release, will officially pick 39th (from Den via Phi) and 40th (via Sac) in the second round after tie-breakers. Their own second-rounder, No. 36 overall, heads to Milwaukee via the Kings. New Orleans currently sits sixth out of 14 in the lottery.

"I'm very happy with the people that I'm working with. I'm very happy with Dell, and I think we work well together."

Who's New Orleans picking?

According to Chad Ford, the Nos. 1 and 2 picks in the NBA draft lottery are set regardless of who's picking -- Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram. The Pelicans are in position to land the No. 6 pick. If they do, Buddy Hield is their guy. NBA draft lottery guide (Insider)
