Only 16 of the 30 players drafted in the first round were born in the U.S. (fewest since 1973). Eight of them did not play college basketball (T-most, 2003). The 2003 draft had eight such players, who have combined to play in zero All-Star Games.

So I guess this is a normal thing for them. Besides that, we are coming from Europe and both seven-footers that can shoot from outside and move the body. I guess that's the only things that are similar. But we're definitely different type of players. He's two years older than me, a lot more experience, so in that part, also, we are different."
