Raptors tearing Clippers apart

The Clippers trailed the Raptors by 29 points at half. It's their largest halftime deficit at home since Nov. 26, 1986 against the Lakers (also 29 points). This is only the 3rd time in franchise history the Clippers have faced such a halftime deficit at home. Follow live

The Lakers fall to 2-10 after a 102-91 loss to the Raptors at Staples Center. In a season-high 37 minutes, 37-year-old Kobe Bryant finished with 10 points on 5-of-13 shooting. He missed all five of his 3-point attempts. He also had five assists and four rebounds. Julius Randle led the Lakers with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Kyle Lowry led the Raptors with 25 points. He hit 7 of 11 from 3-point range.

Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas is out for the rest of the game with a fractured fourth metacarpal in his left hand, the team says. He is expected to undergo further tests.

Lakers guard Lou Williams will face his former team tonight for the first time since the Toronto Raptors declined to offer him a contract extension even after he won Sixth Man of the Year honors with them last season. "Its not personal," said Raptors coach Dwane Casey. "Its not Lou Williams against the Toronto Raptors. Its not the Toronto Raptors against Lou Williams. Its Toronto against the Lakers."
