LeBron James 8-14 FG | 13-16 FT | 6 REB | 2 AST | 30 PTS | -18
GRADEB+

One-man show. After LeBron was held out of practice Thursday due to a bruised knee, it's fair to ask whether his knee is seriously bothering him. It looked just fine on a pair of sky-high second-half dunks, but he wasn't nearly his productive self outside the scoring column. The 20-plus scoring steak is alive and well.

Dwyane Wade 7-11 FG | 7-9 FT | 3 REB | 4 AST | 22 PTS | -3
GRADEC+

Wade came out looking like he was hunting for a 100-point night but disappeared once he hit the bench at the end of the first quarter. Fellow Marquette product Jimmy Butler gave him fits at times, and Wade wasn't able to assert himself later on. He didn't get his 10th field goal attempt until late in the fourth quarter. No, that can't happen with a former scoring champ.

Chris Bosh 5-12 FG | 4-4 FT | 5 REB | 5 AST | 14 PTS | +10
GRADED-

LeBron can't do it alone. Bosh had his jump shot working a bit in this one, but that's not what the Heat want or need to see from him right now. Time after time, Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer hauled in boards with Bosh not-so-innocently looking on. A guy his size should be outrebounding Ray Allen, but alas. Brutal turnover late.

Norris Cole 3-8 FG | 0-2 FT | 4 REB | 0 AST | 6 PTS | +1
GRADEB-

You always wonder with this kid: Is getting hot early a good thing? After hitting some tough shots in the first quarter, Cole got ... let's just say "excited" from then on. Cole is one of the most inefficient players in the game, but he sometimes thinks he has more in common with LeBron than just being a Heat player from Ohio.

Chicago Bulls
GRADEA-

No D-Rose, no problem, thanks to their relentless board work. Boozer and Bosh will always be connected as prized members of the summer of 2010 sweepstakes, and Boozer certainly got the upper hand Friday. Boozer was everywhere in this one and crushed the Heat where they've been most vulnerable: underneath the rim. Uplifting victory for a team without its star player up to this point.
