"No soreness today after a tough day (Monday), so I feel pretty good," Wade said after pushing through Tuesday's workout without any limitations. "Now I have to work my way back to get that (rhythm) back. But I'm excited to get back out there and start."
Wade missed the past two games with a bruised left foot he initially sustained during a Nov. 12 win at Houston when he stepped on the foot of teammate Chris Bosh. Wade finished that game but aggravated the injury two nights later in the Heat's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Heat went 4-2 overall on their recent trip, including 3-0 in games Wade missed with an illness and nagging hand and foot injuries. On Monday, Wade said he regretted his decision to play on the sore foot in the loss to the Clippers, which only worsened the pain over the next two days.
Wade is Miami's third-leading scorer behind LeBron James and Chris Bosh with 16.9 points a game as the team enters a stretch in which it plays 12 of its next 14 games at home.
