In 1994, the Milwaukee Bucks awarded their first overall pick Glenn Robinson a 10-year, $68 million deal. But before the following year's draft, the league's rookie salary scale became part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and limited rookie salaries and time of service (a minimum of three years before free agency).
The following salaries are calculated by adding the permitted 20 percent maximum bonus onto each season on this year's rookie scale numbers. Unlike most second-round money, all first-round slotted salaries are guaranteed over the three-year period.
* Total money expected to be given to first 13 picks over three-year period: $96,915,240.
