Stanford wins women's water polo
LOS ANGELES -- Annika Dries broke a tie with the first of Stanford's four fourth-quarter goals and the top-ranked Cardinal won the NCAA women's water polo title Sunday night, beating UCLA 9-5.
Stanford 34-1 avenged its only loss of the season to win its fourth title and third in four years.
