Michigan eliminates overall top seed Vandy in regionals

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Pinch-hitter Alan Oaks homered off Vanderbilt ace David Price in the top of the 10th inning and Michigan beat the overall No. 1 seed Commodores 4-3 on Monday night to advance to the NCAA tournament's super regionals.

Price (11-1), a left-hander starter projected as one of the top picks in this week's amateur baseball draft, pitched the ninth and 10th innings in relief.
