Oklahoma maintains top spot

Yes, conventional poll wisdom says a loss means a team moves down, but it's not happening here. Oklahoma lost its first game of the season in a 1-0 decision against Nebraska, but it keeps the No. 1 spot because of its overall body of work. Alabama remains perfect on the season (and, you know, won the national championship last season), but there is nothing on the Crimson Tide's résumé this season that matches wins against Arizona, Florida State, Georgia, ...
