Florida State suspends sprinters
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Two Florida State track athletes, including a former Olympian, have been suspended indefinitely for their alleged involvement in an incident involving gunfire Thursday.
Sprinters Stephen Newbold and Josh Mance both face charges relating to the incident. Newbold was charged with firing a gun within the city limits while Mance was charged with resisting arrest and providing a fake ID, according to Tallahassee police.
