James Ramsey

Outfield | Florida State

Perhaps nobody in Seminoles history has played the right-field short porch at Dick Howser Stadium better than Ramsey. As a career .322 hitter, he has slammed 35 doubles and 21 home runs at the dish, while also patrolling right field in his Garnet & Gold career. Despite getting drafted by the Minnesota Twins last June, Ramsey returns for his senior season and another shot at reaching the College World Series in Omaha.

2011 stats: .364 avg., 10 HRs, 67 RBIs, 18 doubles, 31 walks, 11 stolen bases

Coach Mike Martin: "He is the unquestioned leader of our team. His work ethic and passion for the game is what sets him apart."
