ANN ARBOR, Michigan (Ticker) -- No. 12 Wake Forest seeks to
extend its November run of excellence tonight when it battles
Michigan in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge at Crisler Arenas. Wake Forest (4-0) has won 13 straight November games and is looking to begin the season 5-0 for the fourth time in the last five season. The Demon Deacons crushed Campbell, 86-47, Saturday to post their ninth straight win, the second-longest current winning streak in the country behind Michigan State, which has won 14 in a row. Craig Dawson scored a career-21 points on Saturday and is averaging 18.8 points per game. Robert O'Kelley adds 14 points per game while Josh Howard, and Darius Songalia are averaging 13 points apiece for Wake Forest, which owns a three-game road winning streak. Michigan (2-1) bounced back from a surprising season-opening loss at Oakland to post wins over Western Michigan and Wagner last week. LaVell Blanchard led the way against Wagner with 24 points and a career-high tying 13 rebounds -- his 11th career double-double. He paces the team with 20.7 points and 9.3 rebounds a game. This is the first meeting between these two teams, but the Demon Deacons have won three in a row against Big Ten schools. The Wolverines are 30-24 all-time against Atlantic Coast Conference foes.
