Gene Teague suffers head injury

Seton Hall center Gene Teague was wheeled off the court on a stretcher and hospitalized Friday night with a head injury.

He had dominated play with 18 points and 11 rebounds until a hard foul resulted in a scary fall with 14:42 remaining in the Pirates' 90-58 win over Lafayette.

Teague, a 6-foot-9 senior, was in the air taking an off-balance shot when he was knocked on his back by Michael Hoffman. Teague lay flat on his back, moaning, and was taken off the court with his neck stabilized ...
