Duke jersey sells for $119,500

A jersey believed to have been worn by Christian Laettner when he took the famous turnaround jumper to lead Duke over Kentucky in the 1992 NCAA tournament has been sold by an auction house for $119,500.

Lelands.com sold the jersey, which it said was given to it by a consigner whom Laettner gave the jersey when that season concluded, to a single bidder who has wished to remain anonymous.
