Terps give 3 permission to transfer

Maryland has lost three players and is on the verge of losing an assistant coach.

The school announced senior Nick Faust, sophomore Shaquille Cleare and freshman Roddy Peters were granted permission to transfer elsewhere.

"I really enjoyed coaching Nick, Shaq and Roddy," Maryland coach Mark Turgeon said in a statement. "It is unfortunate that they will no longer be a part of the program. I wish them the very best in their future endeavors."
