UM's Caris LeVert has foot surgery

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan guard Caris LeVert had surgery Monday for a stress fracture of his foot.

Coach John Beilein released a statement saying LeVert is expected to be fully recovered in about 8 to 10 weeks. He is confident LeVert will be able to play on the team's August trip to Europe.

LeVert was one of the nation's most improved players as a sophomore, and the Big Ten champions may depend on him even more next season. Michigan lost Nik Stauskas, Glenn Robinson III and Mitch ...
