Bliss went 19-29 in one season with Dakota Wizards

BISMARCK, N.D. -- Former Baylor coach Dave Bliss has resigned as the coach of the CBA's Dakota Wizards after posting a losing record in his first year with the team.

Wizards general manager Jane Link said Bliss sent a letter of resignation to the Bismarck-based team Tuesday.

"He cited family reasons," Link said. She said Bliss' wife would not move from the couple's home in Denver.

Bliss could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday night.
