Attorney: Former OU assistant 'pleased' with outcome

NORMAN, Okla. -- Former Oklahoma assistant Bob Hoffman was more concerned about having his name cleared than the potential impact of an NCAA infractions file on his coaching future, his attorney said Thursday.

Hoffman was included in an NCAA Committee on Infractions report on nearly 600 impermissible recruiting phone calls by Oklahoma coaches, but the former Texas-Pan American coach will not have a record of his violations kept.
