K-State suspends Gilbert for violation of team rules

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Kansas State coach Frank Martin announced Wednesday that junior forward Andre Gilbert has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

The suspension came as the Wildcats (No. 24 ESPN/USA Today, No. 22 AP) were preparing to take on No. 2 Kansas, a team they haven't beaten in Manhattan since 1983.
