Turgeon agrees to extension
COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M coach Mark Turgeon has agreed to a contract extension to remain with the Aggies.
The length and other details of the extension were not yet released, pending approval of the contract by Texas A&M regents in late May.
Turgeon, who currently earns about $1.2 million per season, will earn more than $1.5 million once the new deal is approved, a source familiar with the situation told ESPN.com's Andy Katz last week.
