Phelps' cancer surgery successful

ESPN college basketball analyst and legendary coach Digger Phelps underwent successful prostate cancer surgery on Tuesday, according to a press release.

Phelps, who was diagnosed on April 28, was treated at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Wash., and had surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center.

He is recovering and resting comfortably, according to the press release.
