Wisconsin's Josh Gasser tears ACL
MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin starting point guard Josh Gasser will miss the season after tearing an ACL in practice.
Gasser was hurt Saturday. Wisconsin says he'll be re-evaluated this week, and will have surgery shortly thereafter. He'll redshirt the season and have two years of eligibility remaining.
After backing up Jordan Taylor the last two seasons, Gasser was Wisconsin's most experienced point guard. He averaged 34 minutes and 7.6 points per game last year, and ...
