DeAndre Applewhite suffers torn ACL
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Freshman guard DeAndre Applewhite will have to wait a year to debut at Mississippi State after learning that he needs surgery to repair a torn ACL and meniscus in his left knee.
Applewhite was injured Friday during practice and an MRI late Monday revealed the damage. The date of the surgery has not yet been determined.
