Saint Mary's (Cal) 76, Drexel 64

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Matthew Dellavedova scored 32 points to lead Saint Mary's over Drexel 76-64 Thursday in the opening round of the DirecTV Classic.

Dellavedova, who scored 16 points in each half, was 10 of 16 from the floor and made 10 of 12 from the free-throw line for the Gaels (4-0). Brad Waldow scored 15 points and James Walker III added 13 points for Saint Mary's, which led 36-28 at halftime.

Frantz Massanet led the Dragons (1-3) with 17 points.
