Coppin St. 98, Cheyney 78

BALTIMORE -- Patrick Cole scored 21 points to lead five Coppin State players in double figures in a 98-78 victory over Cheyney Saturday in nonconference play.
The Eagles (1-4), who began the season by going 0-4 in the Maui Invitational, quickly jumped on the Division II Wolves (1-1). Coppin State led 49-34 at halftime.
Although Cheyney drew within 84-72 with 3:58 to play, Coppin State pulled away to win handily.
