PROVO, Utah -- Tyler Haws had 24 points, Brandon Davies chipped in with 19 and BYU used a 46-16 second-half surge to defeat Pepperdine 76-51 on Thursday night.

BYU (13-4, 3-0 West Coast) trailed 35-30 at halftime after shooting a dismal 9 for 32 from the field, but the Cougars were much better in the second half, hitting 58.1 percent of their shots.
