Doc Sadler leaves KU for Iowa St.

Former Nebraska head coach Doc Sadler has been hired as an Iowa State assistant coach, the school said Friday.

Sadler will replace T.J. Otzelberger, who left coach Fred Hoiberg's Cyclones staff earlier this month for a position with Washington.

"When you look at the program, with Hilton Coliseum, the fans and what Hoiberg been able to do in three years, it's unbelievable," Sadler told The Associated Press.
