Xavier coach Miller gets extension to 2010

CINCINNATI -- Sean Miller was rewarded after a
successful first season as Xavier's men's basketball coach.

Miller has agreed with Xavier on an extension that will keep him
under contract through the 2009-10 season, the school announced

Miller, who had signed a five-year contract on July 8, 2004, led
a young Musketeer squad to a 17-12 mark last season. Xavier
will have its top seven players back for the 2005-06 campaign.

"Sean did an outstanding job in his first season," Xavier
athletic director Dawn Rogers said. "We saw great leadership
that will continue to improve our program on a national scale."

"I am excited about the future of our program and I very much
look forward to continuing our great tradition," Miller said.
