New assistant Ware reunites with Morrill at Utah State

LOGAN, Utah -- Utah State has hired the director of
basketball operations at the University of Minnesota to be its new
assistant coach.

James Ware replaces Don Holst, who resigned following the
2005-2006 season.

This marks the second time Ware will work with Utah State coach
Stew Morrill.

The two worked together previously at Colorado State. Ware's
coaching career began as an assistant Hopkins (Minn.) High School
in 2000, where he coached Kris Humphries. Humphries was a 2004
first-round draft pick of the Utah Jazz.
